"Our wedding at Grace Lutheran Church was truly a spectacular experience!  The premarital sessions with Pastor John brought us even closer together and prepared us to begin our lives together in Holy Matrimony.  These sessions sparked intriguing conversations about our future together and stressed the importance of keeping God as the focal point in our lives.  We wanted a Christian wedding, and that is exactly what we received.

Katie and Debbie were phenomenal in taking care of all the ceremony details so we could enjoy every moment of it and be the guests of honor on our wedding day.  The combination of the history and beauty of the sanctuary, the stained glass windows, and Michael's musical skills on the organ and piano only added to the feelings of joy.  It was everything we dreamed of and more!  We couldn't have asked for a more romantic, spiritual, and memorable experience.  We are very blessed and will cherish our wedding day forever!"

"Grace Lutheran was the perfect place for us to get married. We looked at over 40 other churches throughout San Diego County. What made Grace Lutheran stand out was how unique and quaint it was. The stained-glass windows are beautiful, the organ, along with all the candlesmakes for a veryromantic setting. The guest attending thought we spent a fortune to have our ceremony at Grace, but it was surprisingly inexpensive. What made it even better was the pre-marital counceling provided by Pastor John Bombaro, he is amazing, he is also like family to us. Throughout the planning process, Katie was extremely helpful, and was willing to answer any questions at any time with a smile. If we had not gotten married at Grace Lutheran, we would not have heard of Holy Matrimony, and it's significance in our marriage. It was a perfect wedding, guests are still commenting on the service. We are blessed to have found Grace Lutheran, and soon it will be our home church."

" We were truly blessed to have been married at Grace.  From our first meetings with you, you welcomed  us in with enthusiasm and made us feel at home.  Throughout our engagement, you challenged us in our relationship with each other and our entire conception of marriage.  The wedding itself was beautiful and sacred--we looked forward to the day, knowing that it would not simply be an exchange of vows, but would emphasise the importance of Christ at the centre of our marriage.  Thank you so much for mentoring us through that important stage of our marriage and we hope that our relationship with you will not end with the ceremony."

"We initially learned of Grace Lutheran in a generic search for a  place to hold our wedding. However, what we found was a beautiful church home with friendly and loving parishioners and an extremely intelligent, yet down-to-earth Pastor who keeps us wanting to come back every Sunday. It was truly a blessing to celebrate the sacrament of marriage at Grace and it has been an honor to be a part of the Grace family.”

Getting married at Grace was always a dream of mine as I was baptized as an infant at Grace, and grew up respecting the beauty of the church with its magnificent stained glass windows and a heart-stopping organ. The staff at Grace was very helpful during the planning stages of the wedding and very accommodating to our desires. Marriage counseling sessions prior to the wedding were times of great conversation and chances for David and I to discuss our religious views and goals for the future with Pastor Bombaro. Our wedding at Grace was perfect!”

"Pastor John helped Alisa and I immensely leading up to the wedding, helping us communicate and helping us realize the importance of religion in our and in our future children's lives. During the ceremony, Pastor John & Debbie made sure everything ran smoothly. They were a calming influence on what would normally be a nerve wracking day. Finally, the beauty of the church was the icing on the cake. It has such a classic look with gorgeous stained glass windows. We had a wonderful wedding."
